SOCCER CLUB
MICRO DIVISION
·
The Micro program
is an in-house program for children ages 4-7. This program teaches young
children the sport of soccer and helps develop their soccer skills. Boys and
Girls are usually separated.
·
Spring season
starts around the beginning of April, Fall season
starts around the beginning of September. Both seasons run approximately 8
weeks.
·
Practice & informal
games are usually held twice a week. Typically one weeknight & Saturday,
lasting 1 hour. Practice/game schedules are usually not set until a few weeks
before the start of the season. The days & time are based on availability
of volunteer coaches. We usually try to keep the schedule similar to the prior
year, but this is not always possible.
·
Players/Parents
should be contacted with team assignments and additional information a few
weeks prior to the beginning of the season.
·
UK Elite
(professional coaching organization) will conduct practices, on Saturdays
throughout the season.
·
We are always in
need of volunteer coaches & parent helpers. Even if you do not have much
soccer experience, you can contribute. A few coaching clinics will be offered
before the beginning of the season, and other coaches are always willing to
help. Contact me or check our web site for more info on clinic dates.

Please remember
that the Nazareth Area Soccer Club is organized and maintained by volunteers
who dedicate a great deal of their time and effort to make the program
successful. These are people like you, who are trying their best for the
benefit of every child and the entire organization. Our success depends on
volunteers. Please contact me or our President, Michael Porter if you would like to help.
